Drop off, pick up & getting paid.

Everything you need to know about dropping off your tagged items, picking up what doesn’t sell, and how your earnings reach you after the sale.

Drop off

Reserve your drop-off time.

All consignors must reserve a scheduled time to drop off their items. Click here to log in and schedule a drop-off time. All time slots are in 15-minute increments – please arrive within 5 minutes of your scheduled time frame.

What to expect at drop-off.

  • 1

Please allow 30-45 minutes for drop-off.

  • 2

Arrive with your items neatly hung and tagged.

  • 3

If you have designer accessory items (priced over $40) – including shoes, handbags and jewelry – place these in a bin and notify your inventory quality inspector, and they’ll be placed in the appropriate holding location.

  • 4
All items priced over $100 must be scanned into the sale by a designated staff person. Please visit the designer section to have your items scanned in.
  • 5
Arrange items in like groups and by size – shirts (S-XL) in one group, bottoms (S-L or 00–24) in another, sweaters in another, and so on.
  • 6

We’ll confirm items are properly hung (hanger should face like a “?”) and properly tagged (cardstock required, no printer paper). Clothing is inspected for current fashion trend, stains, holes, missing buttons, etc. Any unaccepted items will be returned at drop-off; if we find more after drop-off, we’ll set them aside for pickup or donate if applicable.

  • 7

Consignors are responsible for placing their shoes, handbags and accessories on the sales floor in specified locations – typically done during clothing inspection.

  • 8

Please don’t schedule your drop-off during a volunteer shift. If your shift is 12pm-3pm, schedule drop-off at least 1 hour before your shift starts or after 3pm when it’s over.

Express drop off

Avoid the wait

Skip the line at drop-off.

Express hours

Friday 11am – 3pm
Saturday 11am – 2pm
Sunday · Restock / 2nd round 10am – 12pm

How it qualifies

  • New / first-time sellers are not eligible for express drop-off.
  • If you deem ALL your items as DONATE* at the end of the sale, you can drop off WITHOUT a scheduled time and WITHOUT waiting for staff inspection.
  • Express drop-off does not require a check-in appointment.

*Donated items are indicated on the tag with a ‘D’ in the lower right corner. Select “Donate Yes” when entering descriptions and tags will print with a ‘D’.

How it works

  • Notify our check-in coordinator that you’re an express drop-off, and take pictures of your pre-sale passes.
  • Hang items in order on a rolling rack. Place non-hanging items in a tote/box you’re OK leaving at the sale. Notify an inventory quality checker about designer accessories.
  • Items are set to the side to be inspected during a lull in drop-off.

Pickup

Picking up your unsold items.

Consignors can pick up their unsold merchandise within the designated pickup hours.

Consignor pickup of unsold items

Saturday, September 19th

4pm – 6pm

For consignors that do not want their items in the Sunday Mega Sale. (ALL items left on Saturday regardless of discount notation are discounted in the Sunday Mega Sale.)

Things to note about pick up.

  • 1
Consignors are responsible for grabbing unsold items from the sales floor racks.
  • 2
Accessories (handbags, shoes, jewelry, scarves, etc.) will be with each category on the sales floor, same as during shopping hours.
  • 3
A preliminary end-of-sale sold and unsold report will be available by 5pm or about 30 minutes after last shopper has been checked out.
  • 4

Items that have lost tags will be on a “No Tag Rack” near the door. Please check this rack before leaving with your unsold items, and have your online inventory pulled up so a team member can match the no-tag item to your online description.

  • 5
Hangers will be available to take home — please bring a bag or box to take these home for the following season!

If you are unable to pick up during this time slot, please make alternative arrangements with a friend or family member. Green Jeans Consignment is unable to transfer/store consignor merchandise following the sale.

Please note

Items NOT picked up Saturday night by 6pm will be sold in our 55–70% off sale on Sunday from 8am–4pm — sold for the deemed discount on all items, even those marked “discount: No.” Consignors receive their earned percentage for these sales.

End-of-sale items remaining after the Mega Sunday sale will be donated to partner charities. Consignors receive a charity donation slip within two weeks after the sale via email. (If you choose to pick up your unsold items, you must pick up between 4p–6p Saturday.)
