Our Philosophy & Charitable Partners
Green Jeans is committed to supporting women in our community.
We love helping women clear the excess clutter from their home and lives. We enjoy seeing our shoppers purchase beautiful clothing and accessories for a fraction of retail. And we are passionate about supporting local non-profits who clothe the less fortunate and give women the lift they need with free, high quality fashion. At the beginning and end of each sale, all donated clothing will be given to some/all of the following organizations...
Give Back Boutique/Christian Mission
478 Williamson Road, Suite D, Mooresville, NC 28117 / Phone 704-663-3677
The Give-Back Boutique began by a group of volunteers working at the Mooresville Lake Norman Christian Mission serving those in need in the Lake Norman community. Each having a passion for design and fashion they began exploring the idea of opening an upscale consignment boutique. Within a few months, the Give-Back Boutique was born. What makes this shop unique is that 100% of proceeds go to serve families in our own community who are in financial crisis, especially those with children. Money raised helps to fund Crisis Assistance Programs helping families in danger of hunger or homelessness. You can read more about the programs and services by visiting the Mission's website at www.mooresvillelakenormanchristianmission.org.
Lydia’s Loft (Ada Jenkins assistance program)
203 N. Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078 / Phone 704-948-7797
Lydia’s Loft opened its doors to clients for the very first time on February 10, 2004. Lydia’s is a community service organization providing clothing and small household items free of charge to people in need in our community. Lydia’s Loft is staffed entirely by volunteers from all over the greater Lake Norman area. They exist due to the generosity and support not only of local individuals, groups, houses of faith and corporate organizations, but also The Ada Jenkins Center, whose mission is to improve the quality of life for the residents of our community through the integrated delivery of health, education and human services. You can learn more about Lydia’s Loft by visiting their website at http://www.lydiasloft.org or The Ada Jenkins Center at www.adajenkins.org.
